Primary Websites/Apps: https://www.studit.in and the Studit mobile applications.By visiting or using the Studit Platform, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not access or use our services.
A) Privacy Policy
1) Scope & Definitions
“Studit Platform”: https://www.studit.in, the Studit apps, and any other online/offline channels operated by us.
“Services”: All educational services and features we offer — discovery & booking of tutors, classes, tests, content, payments, scheduling, support, and related activities.
“We/Us/Our”: MindQue India Pvt. Ltd. and its group/affiliates.
“You/Your”: Users, parents/guardians, students, tutors, and visitors.
Applicable laws: We operate under Indian law (including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable rules). Where relevant, we also consider good‑practice standards for privacy and child safety.
2) What We Collect
a) Identity & Contact: name, email, mobile, address, student/parent relationship, age/class, school, profile photo (optional).
b) Account & Usage: login IDs, device identifiers, IP, OS/browser/app versions, app logs, pages/screens visited, time spent, crash reports.
c) Preferences & Interactions: classes/subjects of interest, saved tutors, feedback, ratings, chat/support messages, call recordings (where permitted).
d) Transactional: bookings, invoices, amounts, tax details, discounts/coupons, payment status and references.
e) Payment Method Meta: billing name/address and instrument type (UPI/card/wallet). We do not store full card numbers or CVV.
f) Content You Provide: comments, reviews, uploaded homework/assignments, attachments sent to tutors/support.
g) Device‑stored Info (with permission): contacts (to facilitate referrals/class invites), calendar (to add sessions), media (to upload homework), microphone/camera (for video class/presence verification).
h) Demographic/Survey: age band, city, learning goals, survey responses.
i) Social Sign‑in: data shared by Google/Apple/Facebook if you choose to sign in with them (as per their policies).3) How We Collect It
Directly from you: account creation, booking, support queries, surveys.
Automatically: cookies/SDKs/pixels, app telemetry, server logs.
From third parties: payment processors, analytics/advertising partners, and social sign‑in providers (only as permitted).
4) Why We Use It (Purposes)
Provide and improve Services; match students with tutors; scheduling & reminders.
Process payments & send invoices/receipts.
Authenticate, secure, and prevent fraud/abuse.
Personalize content (recommended tutors, classes, practice).
Customer support and dispute resolution.
Marketing & service communications (offers, updates, newsletters).
Legal compliance and record‑keeping.
5) Legal Grounds / Consent
We process your data based on: (i) your consent (e.g., marketing, device permissions), (ii) to perform a contract (deliver booked classes), (iii) our legitimate interests (security, improvement), and (iv) legal obligations (tax, accounting, law enforcement requests). You may withdraw consent where applicable, but some features may stop working.
6) Children & Students’ Data
Studit is used by students; for users under 18, parental/guardian involvement and verifiable consent are required for registrations, payments, and certain permissions (camera/mic/location).
We encourage parents to supervise online classes and account usage.
We do not knowingly allow direct marketing to minors; promotional communications are addressed to the parent/guardian email/phone on file.
7) Payments & Financial Data
Payments are processed by PCI‑DSS compliant gateways/partners (e.g., HDFC Bank, Razorpay, Google Pay, PhonePe, Amazon Pay, and other UPI providers).
Studit does not store your full card number, CVV, or UPI PIN.
For chargebacks, we may share limited transaction records with payment partners to resolve disputes.
8) Cookies, Pixels & Similar Tech
We use cookies/SDKs/pixels to:
keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure session attendance;
understand feature usage and improve performance;
deliver/measure ads on our and third‑party properties.
You can restrict cookies in your browser/device settings; some features may degrade.
9) Analytics, Ads & Third Parties
We may use analytics (e.g., Google Analytics/Firebase) and advertising networks (e.g., Google Ads/Facebook/Meta) to measure usage and show relevant offers. These partners may set/read their own identifiers in line with their policies. You can limit interest‑based ads via your device ad settings and partner opt‑outs.
10) Communications Preferences (Opt‑Out)
Marketing: email studit.in@gmail.com or use “unsubscribe” links/SMS instructions to opt out.
Transactional: we’ll still send essential messages (bookings, receipts, reschedules, policy updates).
11) Data Sharing & Disclosures
We share data only as needed with:
Service providers: hosting, analytics, SMS/email, customer support, payment processing, ID verification.
Tutors/centres: limited info required to deliver your booked class (student name, class details, location if home tuition, and contact for coordination).
Parents/guardians: session status and performance updates for minor students.
Advertising/measurement partners: with pseudonymous identifiers for ad measurement/targeting (where permitted).
Lawful requests: government/law enforcement, court orders, fraud prevention.
Corporate: within our Group/affiliates; and during mergers/acquisitions (with continuity safeguards).
With your explicit consent for any other sharing.
12) Cross‑Border Transfers
Where partners or cloud infrastructure are outside India, we implement reasonable contractual and technical safeguards. By using Studit, you consent to such transfers.
13) Security Measures
We use a defense‑in‑depth approach: encryption in transit, hardened infrastructure, access controls, audit logging, tokenization by payment partners, and regular reviews. No system is 100% secure; we encourage strong passwords and responsible device use.
14) Data Retention
Account, booking, and tax records are generally retained per legal/accounting requirements.
Learning artifacts (assignments, notes, chat) are retained for the life of the account unless you delete or request deletion (subject to lawful holds).
We may retain minimal logs for security/fraud prevention even after account closure, as permitted by law.
15) Your Rights
Subject to law, you may:
Access/Port a copy of your data.
Correct/Update inaccurate details.
Delete data that we no longer need or where consent is withdrawn (subject to legal retention).
Object/Restrict certain processing (e.g., direct marketing).
Request via support@studit.in; we may verify identity before acting.
16) User‑Generated Content & Recordings
Some classes may support attendance selfies, voice/video, or session recordings for quality and safety (with notice in‑app).
Do not upload content that infringes others’ rights or contains personal data you are not authorized to share.
We may remove content that violates our terms or law.
17) Third‑Party Links
External sites/apps are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for their practices. Review their terms before sharing data.
18) Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the app/site/email. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Policy.

B) Cancellation & Refund Policy
1) Service Types Covered
This policy applies to (i) Home Tuition (one‑to‑one at student’s home), (ii) Tuition Centre batches/classes, (iii) Trials, workshops, camps, and events, and (iv) Digital content (notes, tests, videos).
2) General Rules
Request promptly: Cancellations are considered only if requested immediately after booking and before the service is assigned/scheduled. Once a tutor/slot is allocated or a batch is confirmed, cancellations may not be possible.
Quality first: If service delivered is materially not as described or a tutor repeatedly misses sessions without cause, you may request a resolution (replacement, reschedule, or refund as per sections below).
How to request: Use the app/help chat or email support@studit.in with your booking ID, contact number, and reason.
3) Home Tuition (1‑to‑1 / at home)
Cancellation window: We generally accept cancellation before tutor assignment or within 30 minutes of payment (whichever is earlier).
After assignment: If already assigned/scheduled, cancellation is not allowed; you may request rescheduling (see §8).
Unsatisfactory first session: Report within 24 hours of the first session; we will (a) investigate and (b) offer a free replacement tutor or pro‑rata refund for unused sessions (after deducting the first session and applicable convenience fees).
Safety/no‑show by tutor: If a tutor does not show up or repeatedly cancels, we will prioritize a replacement or offer pro‑rata refund for undelivered sessions.
4) Tuition Centre (batches at centre)
Seat blocking & start date: Seats are limited; once a batch seat is confirmed, cancellation is not permitted after the batch start date.
Before start date: You may cancel up to 72 hours before the batch start; refunds are issued minus an administrative fee and any learning kit already issued.
Mid‑term withdrawal: No refunds after the batch starts, except in exceptional cases (centre closure, schedule changes >14 days without alternatives).
5) Trials, Workshops, Camps, Events
Trials: A paid/free trial once scheduled is non‑refundable if missed by the user. If cancelled by Studit/tutor, we will reschedule or refund the trial fee.
Workshops/Camps/Events: Non‑cancellable within 72 hours of start. If Studit cancels, full refund or reschedule will be offered.
6) Digital Content (notes, videos, tests)
Instant access items are non‑refundable once accessed/downloaded.
If content is defective/inaccessible due to our systems, report within 7 days; we will restore access or refund.
7) Tutor Reassignment & Quality Assurance
If you’re unhappy with teaching style/fit, request a one‑time reassignment; we’ll attempt a match within a reasonable time. If a suitable replacement isn’t available, we’ll offer a pro‑rata refund for undelivered sessions.
8) Rescheduling & No‑Show
Student‑initiated reschedule: Provide ≥24 hours’ notice; the session will be rescheduled subject to tutor availability.
Late notice (<24h) or no‑show by student: Session is marked consumed and non‑refundable.
Tutor no‑show/late: We’ll reschedule at no cost or credit the session back.
9) How Refunds Are Paid & Timelines
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method (or bank transfer if necessary).
Processing time: 6–8 business days from approval; your bank/UPI provider may take additional time to reflect the credit.
Deductions (if applicable): administrative/convenience fees, sessions already delivered, learning kits/materials issued, and any discounts used that are contingent on minimum usage.
10) How to Raise a Request
Email support@studit.in (subject: “Cancellation/Refund – <Booking ID>”) or use in‑app Help.
Provide booking ID, registered mobile/email, and a brief reason.
For quality issues, attach screenshots, chat extracts, or any helpful detail.
We may contact you/tutor for clarification. Decisions are typically communicated within 3–5 business days.
C) Jurisdiction, Governing Law & Miscellaneous
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of competent courts at Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
If any clause is held invalid, the remainder remains in force.
